Antoine Dodson Pleads 'Not Guilty' to Pot Charge

Antoine Dodson is adamant ... he ain't no marijuana-toting criminal -- because TMZ has learned, the YouTube sensation pled "not guilty" to pot possession yesterday after his arrest this weekend.

As we previously reported, Dodson was busted on several misdemeanors early Saturday morning in Alabama -- possession of marijuana, failure to appear on a traffic charge, failure to have car insurance, and speeding ... all of which he pled "not guilty" to yesterday.

Dodson was released on $500 bail. He's due back in court in July.

'Family Matters' Star -- I Wanna Do PLAYBOY!!!

Admit it, you've always wanted to see Laura Winslow NAKED -- well, now you might be able to see the person who played her best friend Maxine on "Family Matters!!!"

TMZ has obtained a photo of Cherie Johnson -- who also played Punky Brewster's BFF back in the '80s -- taken during a nude-ish photo shoot on a beach ... and she's hoping the pics will score her a spread in Playboy

Johnson -- who's 35 years old now -- tells us, "I have been threatening my family that I was going to do 'Playboy' since I was 18 years old."

Cherie adds, "When my mom said 'Okay' ... and my grandma said, 'Bring me a autographed copy,' I figured I'd make it a goal."

Waka Flocka Flame & Gucci Mane To Release "Ferrari Boys" June 21

UPDATE: Waka Flocka says that the Brick Squad's two stars' collaborative album will release in less than two months.

Brick Squad 1017's found Gucci Mane and most successful protege, Waka Flocka Flame have announced plans of a collaborative album. While the pair did not appear on each other's 2010 albums, The Appeal: Georgia's Most Wanted and Flockaveli respectively, they have announced an upcoming full-length, The Ferrari Boys.

Billboard.com reported the upcoming album today, in preparation for Gucci Mane's March 22 retail mixtape, Mr. Zone 6. "The songs are so clever, the beats are so slammin', and the lyrics are just so aggressive," Gucci told Billboard. There's so much energy that we bring to the studio. Nobody's gonna be able to top this album that me and Waka are coming out with."

Earlier this month, Young Money's Jae Millz revealed that Brick Squad and YM have a collaborative mixtape in the works.

Cam'ron Preps "Killa Season 2" and "Cousin Bang" For Fourth Quarter

In addition to the many Diplomats and U.N. projects on deck, Cam'ron says Queen Latifah and Shakim will help him distribute two more movies this year.

Despite being prone to the occasional long hiatus, Cam’ron should be very busy for the rest of 2011. His Gunz ‘N’ Butta album with Vado is currently available in stores and online, and he says the Diplomats are also recording their upcoming Interscope reunion album. As all these projects are developing, Cam plans to reprise a few of his cult movie roles.

“We’re working on the movie Cousing Bang—that’ll be out this October,” Cam recently told Terrence and Rocsi of BET’s “106 & Park.” The character Cousin Bang, who last appeared in 2009 during an extended video version of “I Used To Get It In Ohio,” will apparently be spun off into a separate project. “Killa Season 2 comes out this December. Shout out to Queen Latifah and Shakim for helping us out with that.”

Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere have previously worked together on the movies Just Wright, Beauty Shop and The Perfect Holiday and Bringing Down the House. They will likely be helping Cam distribute the follow up to his 2006 movie, and it appears Cam appreciates the independence the duo affords him.

“I kinda cheated in Paid In Full,” Cam’ron added. “Dame [Dash] produced it, so I got favoritism to get the part. I like doing my own movies.”

Wale Talks Being More Versatile With Maybach Music Group

Citing his goal to be the "most versatile rapper to ever touch a microphone" Wale dismisses any hate from the backpacker set over his move to Maybach Music Group.

Nearly a year ago, you could find Wale in the rare Hip Hop video that catered to women without being an overt love ballad. What should fans make of the fact that a video like “Diary” found Mr. Folarin on stage at what appeared to be a poetry reading, while “Make It Rain” now finds him among a bunch of clapping ass cheeks at the King of Diamonds gentlemen’s club? Maybe nothing at all.

“When it’s all said and done, I want to be known as the most versatile rapper to ever touch a microphone,” Wale told Power 99 FM’s Cosmic Kev during a recent interview. “If the backpackers can’t respect that, then what genre are you supporting? What genre doesn’t evolve? What person doesn’t evolve?”

If “600 Benz” is any indication, Wale may be well on his way towards his goal. He previously stated that his vision was compromised on Attention Deficit—from singles being shelved or changed to video treatments being changed. To hear Wale tell it, the informal working relationship with Maybach Music Group founder Rick Ross may be just as important as his desire to showcase his versatility.

“We talked about the vision and all that,” Wale added. “Dude is a genius; he’s like a big brother to me. We first met at King of Diamonds—it’s life changing. It’s like Chuck E. Cheese for grown men. He liked my style and wanted to know what my situation was.”(hiphopdx)

A Tribe Called Quest Film To Debut In Theaters July 8 A Tribe Called Quest Film To Debut In Theaters July 8

The Michael Rapaport directed documentary will tour the country throughout the summer.

The controversial new documentary about legendary Hip Hop group A Tribe Called Quest entitled Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest is set to premier in front of audiences this summer. The film’s director, actor Michael Rapaport, has chosen to roll the film out in a road-show format, according to Billboard.com. This means the movie will hit different cities across the country throughout the summer.

Rapaport tells Billboard, “I'll be all over the place wherever they want to send me… There was no time to wait. As an actor I have been a part of so many movies that seem like they are about to fall apart. The indie filmmakers who inspire me are the ones who go and do it, no matter what that means. Fortunately since then I have received (some financing)."

The controversy surrounding the film has to do with Tribe member Q-Tip’s vocal dissatisfaction with the doc. Rapaport addressed the rapper’s concerns with Billboard, stating, “He was the leader of Tribe. But I'm making the movie and I have to make the final decisions. He's accustomed to making all of the decisions. I have thought about it a lot and if somebody made a movie as interpersonal as this about me, I don't know that I'd be pleased with someone else making the decisions. To me, it's a love letter to the band."

Beats, Rhymes & Life will premiere on July 8th in New York and Los Angeles. The full schedule for the film's entire run is below.

Beyonce Sued For $100 Million By Video Game Makers

The game developers claim the pop superstar bailed on a proposed dance video game.

In an exclusive story, New York Magazine’s Vulture.com is reporting that video game production company Gate Five has filed a lawsuit against Beyonce for breach of contract. The developers are seeking an award in excess of $100 million dollars. Gate Five say they entered into a deal to create a “motion-sensing dance video game” with the pop singer entitled Staypower: Beyonce.

Vulture quotes Gate Five’s summons as accusing Beyonce of “a bad faith breach of contract so callous that, on what appeared to be a whim, she destroyed Gate Five's business and drove 70 people into unemployment, the week before Christmas.” The company refers to Beyonce as Ms. Carter throughout the document, referring to the singer’s marriage to Hip Hop titan Jay-Z, whose birth name is Sean Carter.

The suit also describes Beyonce as “too erratic to do business with.” Requests for comment by Vulture to Beyonce’s management have not been met. To read the full story, including further allegations from the summons, head over to Vulture.com.(hiphopdx)

Lil Wayne Filming Documentary for I Am Music 2 Tour

Lil Wayne reveals he's preparing in a documentary about his crew's current tour.

MTV's Sway Calloway recently caught up with Lil Wayne following a performance on the New Orleans leg of his current I Am Music 2 tour. The Nolia rhymer revealed that he and his Young Money partners will be filming a documentary about this tour.

Weezy F. said that he was inspired to make this latest flick by documentaries like 2004's Fade to Black that focused on the backstage elements of the concert. He also said that he's felt there have been few musical movements comparable to Young Money as of late that could provide such an interesting premise for a flick.

“I just felt like a movie like th[is one] hasn’t come out in so long," he explained. "At that time when they put those movies out, we as the fans were interested in what they were doing on the road. … Nobody hasn’t came around since then that was that interesting other than Young Money. It’s going to be real major; it’s going to be real big."(hiphopdx)

NYPD Investigates Diddy's Police Escort For After Party

The NYPD looks into why Diddy allegedly received a police escort to an after party.

The NYPD has begun an investigation regarding reports that Diddy was provided a police escort following his concert in Manhattan to an after party in New Jersey.

New York's 1010 WINS reports that New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg spoke with Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly yesterday (April 26) about reports that Diddy received a three-car police escort after his show.

“Police escorts should be provided if there’s a security issue, period," said Bloomberg. "Either for you, for me, for everybody else…The bottom line is the police department should treat everybody exactly the same. If you don’t get a police escort, P. Diddy shouldn’t.”

The NYPD has launched an internal investigation to determine who authorized the escort.(hiphopdx)

50 Cent Announces This Is 50 Comedy Tour, Launches New Website

50 takes a page from Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam and Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy, and launches his own comedy tour.

50 Cent has proven himself to be a businessman lacking the gene of fear. While being experimental has sometimes backfired on him when it comes to his music, his business ventures thrive from risky moves. On Tuesday 50 announced that he is ready to start a comedy tour that will be linked to his Thisis50.com website. The "This is 50 Comedy Show" will feature the site's regular comedian Jack Thriller.

The tour will include the launching of 50's newest website, Thisis50Comedy.com, which will officially be available to the public on April 28. The site's debut will feature the first comedy show (filmed in front of a live audience in the Times Square Arts Center in New York), which viewers will be asked to pay $2.99 to watch online. Some of the proceeds will go to victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

"This tour represents a new era in comedy," 50 said in a statement. "I've put together the funniest, most ignorant comedians you ever seen and we will travel the earth bringing laughter, joy, love, and pain, sunshine, and rain. So brace yourselves because we are coming to a city near you."

The 'This Is 50 Comedy Show' will begin to air online on the last Thursday of each month.

Loose Links: Nate Dogg, RZA, Beastie Boys And Eminem

RZA lands a role in Showtime's "Californication," DubCNN pays tribute to Nate Dogg and we check out retrospectives on the Beastie Boys and Eminem.

Like most of you, we’re both recovering from a vicious round of thunderstorms and preparing for the next one. April is no joke, and we’ve been getting rained on harder than a King of Diamonds stripper when Rick Ross is in town. As always, a little inclement weather never stops us from sharing the interesting and random stuff we find trolling the Internet.

“All My Life”

With all the competing and macho posturing in Hip Hop, it becomes rare that someone honors a peer. We’re not talking about those forced collaborations that get e-mailed back and forth, but just honestly giving it up for a fellow emcee. It’s unfortunate that because of the circumstances surrounding Nate Dogg’s death we’re getting it now, but DubCNN nonetheless did one hell of a job rounding up a host of Nate’s contributors and friends for one last tip of the hat.

“Bobby Did It”

Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA is arguably just as comfortable on camera as he is behind a mic or a drum sequencer. In addition to filming his directorial debut, The Man With The Iron Fists, “The Abbot” will reportedly have a reoccurring role on the Showtime series, “Californication.” According to TVLine.com, RZA will appear in the upcoming fifth season of the series as a character named Apocalypse. We’re not exactly sure how that fits into Hank Moody’s funny and often perverted universe, but it should definitely be worth checking out.

Everyone from Run DMC to Molly Ringwald gives their account of how a now-classic project came together.

Capone Calls Out Prodigy Following Snitching Allegations, Prodigy Responds

UPDATE: Prodigy reacts to Capone's upset recent comments after there were reports of him testifying against Havoc's brother in "My Infamous Life."

Queens rapper Capone had a few choice words for fellow rapper Prodigy after being called out as a snitch in Prodigy’s new book titled “My Infamous Life.”

In a video exclusive with Forbez DVD Capone addressed the snitch allegations and alludes to there being much more in store for Prodigy.

“I’m talkin’ to you Pussy P…You talkin’ about nigga’s crowns is so soft my nigga. Fuck is wrong with you? Look where I’m at. What you want me to do, walk around this bitch? I ain’t got to prove to you I’m from QB or [that] my nigga’s hold me down in my hood nigga,” Capone explained in the video. “Let me tell you something man, niggas don’t rat on my side my nigga…We got a lot of things in store for you. This is just the beginning, act one.”

According to Prodigy, Capone once testified in court against Havoc’s brother Killer Black. He referred back to the incident in an excerpt in “My Infamous Life” and spoke briefly about Capone in a recent interview with Complex magazine.

“People were upset, but that was just one of those things that just never came out. It just never happened. I can’t tell you why,” said Prodigy when asked why the news on Capone hadn’t come out sooner. “I didn’t even want to believe it. None of us wanted to believe it, but that’s what really happened though. We like Capone, and he just did that.”

Although the trial happened quite a while ago Prodigy has worked with C-N-N (Capone and Noreaga) on numerous occasions, a point Noreaga made sure to make clear in an interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club.

“If that was the case then why is it seven Mobb Deep and Capone and Noreaga records that exist,” asked Noreaga during the interview. “If a dude snitch on my man I ain’t hanging with him.”

Prodigy has yet to respond to the remarks made in Capone’s video.

(April 25)

UPDATE: After Capone's statements were made, Prodigy called into Funkmaster Flex's HOT 97 New York radio show last night (April 25). The Mobb Deep co-founder reacted to the Capone-N-Noreaga co-founder's sentiments. "I feel that [Capone] is probably upset because the truth of the matter came out now, as far as what happened with Havoc's brother and the whole case thing. It's sad that it went down the way that it went down. We didn't ask 'Pone to do that; we didn't have nothin' to do with that decision-making," said P. "He has to take that up with hisself at the end of the day...in no way, shape or form was I trying to be disrespectful or to target him or ruin somebody's career. That wasn't my intentions at all. My intentions was just to tell the story how it went down and how it is."

Prodigy went on to call C-N-N "friends" and point to the two groups' rich musical history within Queensbridge. RapRadar.com ripped the full audio from the interview.(HIPHOPDX)

Prodigy Ready To Put Past Beefs Behind Him, Speaks On Rick Ross

Prodigy concentrated on securing songs with Mobb Deep and other artists, says he's past beefing with artists.

In a video interview with ThisIs50, Prodigy of Mobb Deep revealed that following his recent release from prison he’s willing to put past beefs behind him for the sake of music.

“I went straight from prison straight to the G-Unit office and then I came to the studio after that,” Prodigy explained. “So when I stopped at the office I had told 50, ‘Yo, right now we in a position where we gotta start doing songs with people.’ As far as Mobb Deep. We gotta start doing songs with a lot of people…Cause that’s what it is man. It’s like when nigga’s ain’t doing songs with people, beefing with people and all that. We really trying to dead all that.”

Among the many artists Prodigy has reached out to in regards to a possible collaboration is Miami rapper Rick Ross. When asked if Ross’ corrections officer background would be an issue Prodigy explained that he isn’t at all bothered by the rappers past.

“Rick Ross is just one rapper out of many that we’ve been reaching out to,” said Prodigy. “Number one, aight he a correction officer. Aight, so what? I know a lot of cops. I know a lot of corrections officers. I know some people that’s on the other side of the criminal shit and just because you got that job or whatever that doesn’t necessarily mean that you a part of the people that’s tryna target us and fuck with us…That doesn’t bother me that he was a corrections officer.”(HIPHOPDX)

Soulja Boy Says Birdman Wants Him On Cash Money; Reprises 2Pac's "Juice" Role

Mr. Tell Em says Birdman wants him to join Cash Money and says he's "Bishop in 2011" as he prepares to drop a "Juice" remake.

According to Soulja Boy, Birdman has been trying to add him to the Young Money/Cash Money family. Soulja Boy recently revealed this much when speaking with The Boom Box, acknowledging that he's "cool with Birdman."

"Me and [Lil] Wayne, man. I talk to him, but I'm cool with Birdman," he said of his relationship with the two leaders of Cash Money. "When I'm in Miami I be with Birdman. He's trying to get me to come over to Cash Money. I'm cool with Birdman."

"When I was down in Miami for a couple of weeks recording with Sean Kingston, Birdman reached out to me. He said, 'Come and have a meeting with me.' He told me, 'Yo man, you'd go perfect with everything we got going on. Whatever you want, I want to bring you over to this family, bring you to Cash Money.'"

Currently, Soulja Boy still has contractual obligations to Interscope Records.

Fans of Soulja Boy may not catch him signing with Wayne or Birdman just yet but they can expect a mini-movie from the rapper. He has filmed a short film that is meant to be a remake of 1992's Juice, a film that saw Tupac playing the role of Bishop. In the updated version, Soulja Boy will play Bishop and he says that he's "Bishop in 2011."

"Basically, it's your boy Soulja and I'm Bishop in 2011, running around in the streets, man," He told Vibe. "You know how the movie goes, but we're flipping it and shooting in Atlanta. I want to show these people my acting side and me being creative -- always giving them something new; that's all.

The film will also be titled Juice and his mixtape of the same name is meant to be the soundtrack.

"The whole mixtape is the soundtrack for the movie," he noted. (HIPHOPDX)

Warren G & Nate Dogg EP May Come To Release

The "Regulators" have unheard music and the G-child is not opposed to releasing it if he can get the proper assistance.

Today, Warren G formally released "This Is Dedicated To You" , a LaToyia Williams-assisted track honoring his longtime musical partner and 213 band-mate Nate Dogg. Last month, Nate Dogg, a veteran Long Beach, California hit-making singer died after complications from a stroke. He was 41 years old.

Nate and Warren G's best hit was the 1994 collaboration "Regulate" , which appeared on the Above The Rim soundtrack as well as Warren's Def Jam debut, Regulate...G Funk Era. The pair worked together numerous times over the years, and reunited their early '90s 213 group with Snoop Dogg in 2004 for The Hard Way.

In a recent interview with DubCNN.com, Warren G confirmed that he and Nate Dogg were still making music together prior to the singer's first stroke several years ago. Asked if the material would release, Warren spoke optimistically, "I'm thinking about doing a Nate Dogg & Warren G EP, and I talked to a few cats out there in the industry to get on and support. I've gotten some confirmations and stuff from some of the artists who wanna rock with us on that. I just want to let people hear that we still had hit records lined up, ready to go. It don't stop. We still do this."

Unreleased Recordings From 2Pac, Nas, DJ Quik, Ice Cube Part Of Lawhouse Records' Return

Producer Laylaw is opening up the vaults to uncover some recordings by Hip Hop's biggest names.

California producer Laylaw was one of the architects of the G-Funk sound. His work with Dr. Dre has appeared on releases for Ruthless Records, Death Row Records, and Aftermath Entertainment. Laylaw also served as advisor to Eazy E during his days with groundbreaking gangsta- rap group N.W.A. After that the producer created music with the late 2Pac, their association starting with the rapper’s sophomore album Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.

Knowing all the connections Laylaw has made with historic members of the Hip Hop community it is unsurprising but, exciting nonetheless, that his vaults would be crammed with unreleased gems. Now, with his Lawhouse Records imprint, the producer plans to release some of those lost gems. First up is the triple disc, box-set “Lawhouse Greatest Hitz.” That album will feature both released and unreleased music from Ice Cube, 2Pac, DJ Quik, E-40, Above The Law, Eazy-E, MC Ren, Nas, Flo-Rida, Pharcyde, Luniz, Michel’le, Stanley Clarke, George Duke, among others.

Laylaw is also planning on exposing some new talent to the world with Lawhouse Records. His most prominent signing is South Central, Los Angeles rapper Chuck Crazy, who recently released his first single, “L.A. Waves.” (HIPHOPDX)

Mack Maine Gives Reasons Behind Lil Wayne's "Carter IV" Delay

The Young Money president reveals why Wayne's upcoming album is pushed back, and gives fans a new release date.

As previously reported, Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV was pushed back to a June release date.

Mack Maine has revealed that the album will now hit stores on June 21, and that the reason behind the delay is Wayne's need to place finishing touches on the LP.

"He's still perfecting a few things, he's a perfectionist ... changing a few lines," said Mack Maine to MTV News. "We also have a huge record that wasn't done yet. We're in L.A. right now. We have a little studio time and it should be done probably by Monday."

Maine also pointed to waiting on collaborators as a reason for delay. "If you calculate all of that, by the time we would've finished mixing, we wouldn't have met the [original] due date to turn in the album," he added. "So we had to push it back." (HIPHOPDX)

Lil B Says New Album Will Change The World, Enlists Just Blaze

In an interview with Sirius' The Invasion radio show Lil B and producer Just Blaze speak on upcoming 'I'm Gay' album.

California rapper and self-proclaimed “Based God” Lil B had a lot to say about his upcoming album I’m Gay in a radio interview which aired on Green Lantern & Boss Lady's "The Invasion" radio show on Sirius XM radio. It was also revealed that famed producer Just Blaze will be working alongside the somewhat eccentric rapper on his new album.

At one point in the interview Just Blaze explained that it took a while for him to understand Lil B, but through a series of text messages and phone calls he developed more of an understanding of the rapper.

"I understand what he’s doing and why he’s doing it. It’s smart, and it’s not necessarily a gimmick. It’s one of those things that just goes to show you that you can’t take everything somebody says in the most literal since,” Just Blaze explained. “I appreciate that, and there’s a deeper meaning to what he’s saying. It took me a minute to get over that hump. When B first came on my radar, I didn’t really get it…The more we jumped on the phone and text messaged—we connected and I understood how he thinks. I get it now, and it’s deeper than the words. Sometimes you’ve gotta look past the words and listen to the words on the record.”

During his performance at Coachella over the weekend Lil B revealed that the name of his new album would be I’m Gay and of course sparked a firestorm of comments from fans, bloggers, and even gay rights organization GLAAD.

“I wanna say this is gonna change the world. It’s gonna make the world think. It’s bigger than me, and the message is gonna keep people talking,” said Lil B. “I’m Gay will be the most powerful album to ever come out. It’s gonna change people’s lives, and I promise that from my heart. The words have elevated the way people address me. It’s amazing. You have your radicals, but in general, people are viewing me with a whole different stature. It’s way more respect.”

A release date for I’m Gay has yet to be announced (hiphopdx)

Krayzie Bone Splits From Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

Citing uncontrollable circumstances, Krayzie says it's been a great run but it's time to close a chapter in his live by leaving Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and finding new ventures.
Thursday, Krayzie Bone announced via video that he will no longer be a part of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. It appears that the 2010 Uni5: The Worlds Enemy album will be the group’s last effort with all founding members participating.

“I just wanted to take the time out right now to let everybody know about some major changes in my career and in my life,” Krayzie said. “Just so everybody knows that I will no longer be a part of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony due to uncontrollable circumstances. It’s basically time for me to move on with different endeavors that I’ve already had planned in my life.”

Throughout the 16 years Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has been signed, various members have been absent. Stanley “Flesh-N-Bone” Howse spent a significant portion of the group’s prime in prison on a weapons possession charge. Additionally, Bizzy Bone has also taken a hiatus for both business and personal reasons. However, Krayzie said he is leaving on good terms and thanked fans for their support.

One of the different endeavors Krayzie mentioned will likely be The Life Entertainment. Krayzie and fellow Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member Wish Bone helm the independent label. He is also working on a solo effort entitled Chasing The Devil.

Cormega Talks Charity Work in Haiti

Cormega talks about his charity work in Haiti, and says he was inspired by Sean Penn's work.
Cormega recently caught up with Mikey T the Movie Star to discuss his charity work in Haiti last June following the devastating earthquake that rocked the country last year. The Queensbridge legend discussed what it was like to help out in the country and said that he was inspired by the Haitian peoples' resilience in their dark time.
"I went to Haiti, [and] it was humbling because first of all, they don't have streets," he said. "A lot of places, it's just nothing but rumble. And I've seen, you know how we have those metal things that we use in our country to close down our stores?...some of those people were breaking those and making things to live in out of it. I've seen a lot people living in tents. Water is a like luxury. It's something we take for granted, but it's something they're deprived of. I've just seen a lot, but the thing that grabbed me the most about Haiti...is their spirit. Their spirit is undying. That situation would break a lot of people, and I've seen Haitian people just appreciative that they're still here. I've seen them partying and dancing and enjoying their lives still, just hoping for the best. They are dealing with it and they deserve all the help they can get. They deserve honorable people helping them instead of all the fuckery that's going on, because a lot of people generate funds for Haiti but they don't get the funds."
Mega also talked about interacting with other helpers in Haiti. He said that he came to respect Academy Award-winning actor Sean Penn, who he said was helping the Haitian people to the fullest extent. He even told a story about how Penn rushed a sick child to the hospital.
"I gained a lot of respect for certain people and I lost a lot of respect for certain people when I was out there," he explained. "The person that surprised me the most is Sean Penn. Here you have an A-list actor...who was out there while I was out there, and he was out there in the tents with those people, helping those people. I saw a story in the media saying that he was doing it for attention, [and] that's a lie. He was out there when there was no media attention...I even had a Haitian brother tell me he met Sean Penn in the street rushing to the hospital, and the guy asked Sean Penn, 'Can I get a picture with you?' And Sean Penn said, 'I don't want to take no picture, I just need to get to the hospital'...the guy drove Sean Penn to the hospital. Meanwhile, Sean Penn is helping a sick kid. He drove the sick kid to the hospital, and then when he got to the hospital, [Penn] let the guy take a picture with him...stuff like that you don't hear about. Now that's real."

This is not 1995 anymore.”
