Waka Flocka and others to help save the life of one-year-old Daylen Parrish through celebrity charity basketball game.
Atlanta, Georgia rapper Waka Flocka Flame is just one of a handful of celebrities who took part in the “Got Bone Marrow” charity basketball game yesterday at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
The event will be put on by the New York based non-profit organization Preserve Our Legacy to benefit one-year-old Daylen Parrish. Parrish was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia and is in dire need of a bone marrow transplant.
Other celebrities taking part in the game included Gotti of Cash Money, actor JD Williams, the Dallas Cowboys’ Bryan McCann, and more.
This isn’t the first time Waka Flocka has helped out a non-profit organization. Earlier this month the rapper teamed up with the Make A Wish Foundation to surprise a 16-year-old fan during a family visit to Atlanta.(hiphopdx)
